INSPIRED LEADERSHIP
VALUES EMPOWERMENT
ORGANISATIONAL SUCCESS
TOTAL TRANSFORMATION
BRIEF INTRODUCTION
The GLII - Programme is a leadership training initiative, designed for true organizational success, using the four-step V.K.S. Model, instituted by Raphael-Mary Nnamdi Oraegbu. It is being facilitated and promoted, under the GLII - Programme. For Good Leadership, by CHILDREN OF LOVE, the Catholic organization, in seeking to enhance positive capacity-building, through inspired leadership.
The programme, essentially, postulates a love-centred approach to achieving good leadership, at all levels, through complementary acquisition, enhancement and integration of vital knowledge and skills development.
It provides, by the process focused learning, not only the organizational skills that are needed for effective leadership. But, also, even more important for attaining wholistic soundness and rejuvenation, the empowered consciousness and zeal to strive to do what is right, always, as being called to be a good leader, spiritually speaking.
And, for course, this is a vision of true leadership, that we cannot turn away from, in the grace of God. For it flows from our hearts and souls – our very inner beings; and as it reaches out for the good and well-being of others. So, too, we are certain, that it goes beyond our own natural inclinations and ways of doing things, our own managerial competences and manner of decision-making, that we are so familiar with; and which reduces all we do to numbers that attest to our self-satisfaction. Rather than the true spirit of love and its power to transform everything.
For, there, this unique Kind of leadership – inspired leadership, verily – bursts out as a pure spirit. It shines forth, thus, as enduring faithfulness, imbued with courage, in inspiring others to do good.
And, ultimately, in this regards, from willingness of our minds, hearts and souls to excel in goodness, it soars above limitations and obstacles enabling us to see only possibilities and opportunities that are ahead of us, to embrace.

THE PROGRAMME – INSTRUCTIONAL
The four-step V.K.S. Model
A. First Step:
The spirituality element. This is, as conceptualized, important above all else. It introduces the concept of love and its centrality, through the knowledge of God, self and environment.
B. Second Step:
The organizational element: This locates the individuals within their functional setting, or arrangement. It introduces the issues of work-place competences and demands, as duty requirements, codes and processes, which must be tackled through values empowerment.
C. Third Step
The leadership element: This brings out to us, vividly, what we are all expected to do, as good leaders in coming forth with God-given gifts and qualities, as we are challenged to do so. And, it is, that all our actions and good deeds, must be expressed as bold and courageous, in terms of being timely and critical, also, as command-base decision-making, that pours out as love.
D. Fourth Step
The transformational element: This takes a hard look at our personality traits and individual tendencies, to reveal our weaknesses in responding to things and situations, in order, to give us the benefits for future improvements. It helps us to analyse, now, all that we have studied, with visionary applications. So as, to remind us, that we have largely untapped capacities, to become better human beings, -better leaders, indeed – in our organization, our community and our country, in bringing others, too, to be good leaders.
THE PROGRAMME- VARIABLE
The V.K.S Standards Adaptation
The vital knowledge and skills (V.K.S.), is pursued under the programme, for the various levels, to ensure understanding, with three learning development categories in mind, namely, the acquisition functions standard, the enhancement function standard and the integration function standard.
1. The acquisition function standard (AFS), sees the basic level of impartation. It aims at providing what is almost completely lacking. So that, some transformation can begin to take place, in the minds and hearts of the candidates, desiring to be good leaders.
2. The enhancement function standard (EFS), sees the up-grading level of impartation. It aims at strengthening what already exists, in terms of functional knowledge base. So that, something new and fresh, and also, more effective, is assimilated, in making the candidates to gain needed vibrancy, as good leaders.
3. The integration function standard (IFS), sees the optimal level of impartation. It aims at getting the candidates to reach full maximization of effects and benefits, through widening their capacity-building and ensuring more effective resources utilization; and, all of which, allow them to see higher performances at different challenging situations, now, as good leaders
CONCLUSION
We conclude, here – with, what leaves us with the certainty of purpose, in the words of Raphel-Mary Nnamdi Oraegbu. President of CHILDREN OF LOVE: “The highest level of good leadership performance that we can attain, which is really immeasurable, by any standards, is not about the size of profits that we have produced, or the expansiveness of the organization that we run. But, the certain joy and the living hope that we have given to others, in believing that they can be good leaders, too; and also, joined to these, the life of grace and peace that they have gained, there-from. And all of these, mean to give us a taste of the gift of true love, which, if we internalize it, takes root in our lives and in our society, and in our world. For our lives and our entire endeavours, without doubt, ought to be centred on true love.”
